Job Description:
Principal Accountabilities:
Under close supervision, assists in maximizing store sales and achieving sales goals. Monitors sales progress and results against key targets. Leads an environment of productivity by engaging customers on the sales floor and providing coaching and feedback to associates around customer engagement. Ensures excellence in customer service in the store. Monitors customer feedback and addresses concerns. Performs a variety of routine assignments.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred. Minimum of one year of related experience preferred.
Knowledge & Application:
Applies knowledge of standardized rules, procedures, and operations within a specialized or technical field. May include multistep processes requiring detailed knowledge. May require formal training or certification. Operative/Technician roles may operate complex machinery or processes.
Problem Solving:
Problems are known and defined; issues may require some fact-finding. Non-routine issues are escalated. Selects best options using common sense and experience. Refers to procedures, technical aids, co-workers, and supervisors.
Interaction:
Interacts with individuals within and outside the team to convey information. Requires professionalism, customer service skills, courtesy, and tact.
Impact:
Supports goal achievement through personal effort. Impact is typically limited to the immediate team but may extend to customer-facing roles. Responsible for achieving daily and weekly tasks under supervision.
Accountability:
Accountable for own work activities, meeting timescales and quality standards. Performance measured against service level requirements. Aware of costs and expectations.
