MISSION
This home-based position in Europe involves full responsibility for global expansion (revenue and acquisition), primarily encouraging clients to connect via our API.
Includes generating new business leads, managing accounts, and maintaining relationships at all management levels.
Focus on clients such as tour operators, DMCs, and bedbanks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Focus on new business development.
* Achieve sales targets individually and as part of a team.
* Engage with clients and prospects via email, phone, and virtual meetings; some travel may be required.
* Visit clients and prospects as necessary.
* Close ongoing sales opportunities.
* Coordinate with Finance, Connection, and Operations teams to ensure optimal client experience.
* Acquire targeted clients with follow-up from registration to booking.
* Deliver sales presentations to secure new business.
* Plan meetings and analyze data.
* Provide feedback to head office for improvements.
* Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
* Maintain daily updates in CRM system.
* Execute company strategies and directives.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of field sales experience in the travel industry, with API knowledge preferred. A strong sales record can substitute for experience.
Preference for candidates with API sales experience or similar backgrounds.
Must have excellent market contacts, be target-driven, results-oriented, and have a good understanding of technology and online distribution.
Excellent communication skills, resourcefulness, organizational skills, and motivation are essential.
Flexibility for travel nationally and internationally.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Confident presenter and communicator.
