**# What you'll do**:
The Accountant is responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with other departments to support overall business objectives.

Your role, should you choose to accept it:

- Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper coding.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Prepare necessary documentation and respond to audit inquiries.
- Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and support their financial needs.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and systems.
- Handle general administrative tasks and provide administrative support to team members when needed.
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.

**# How we imagine you**:

- Experience minimum 2 YEARS in the accounting department. DEMONSTRABLE.
- Solid knowledge of the GENERAL ACCOUNTING PLAN.
- Experience in accounting programs, valuable experience with ORACLE NETSUITE program.
- High proficiency in EXCEL.
- We are looking for a highly organized, autonomous person with great planning and learning abilities.
- You have a hands-on and an early stage mentality by willing to get your hands dirty.
- You pay attention to details and you can demonstrate an excellent ability working with numbers.
- You are autonomous and you can make your own decisions.
- You are very flexible and you can do different tasks at the same time.
- Being well-read and up-to-speed in the start-up world is useful.
