About this Position As a Senior Project &Sustainability Engineer, you will play a key role in developing andexecuting strategic investment projects across the European region, ensuringtechnical excellence, safety, and sustainability in every phase. You will beresponsible for the technical and engineering aspects of assigned projects andact as a key contributor to Henkel’s sustainability agenda within the EuropeanEngineering Network.
Responsibilities
Lead and execute investment projects safely, on time,on budget, and in line with Henkel’s Project Management Framework
Manage all technical and engineering aspects ofassigned projects in the European region
Drive all project phases — from feasibility and conceptdevelopment to execution, commissioning, start-up, hand-over and projectclosure, including lessons learned
Identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks,resolving and escalating issues as appropriate
Coordinate and communicate effectively with projectstakeholders and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment andtransparency
Collaborate with internal experts and technology specialists to secure best-in-class technical solutions
Support the design and creation of a regional sustainability roadmap for AO Europe, ensuring the best fit ofsustainability tools and projects per production site
Facilitate ongoing best practice exchange between sitesand the regional engineering group to strengthen sustainability knowledgeand capabilities
Lead sustainability-related projects within theEuropean Engineering Network, promoting innovation and knowledge exchange
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement ofsustainability practices across sites
Qualifications
Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
Work location: Montornes del Valles
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering,Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Industrial Chemistry
Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Engineering,preferably in CAPEX investment projects within an industrial environment
Strong project management skills, including experiencewith relevant tools and methodologies
High degree of self-motivation, autonomy, andflexibility in a dynamic international environment
Excellent communication and stakeholder managementskills across all organizational levels and functions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, CADapplications
Willingness to travel across Europe up to 20% of thetime, depending on project assignments
