Iberia Tech is looking for an experienced AMOS Functional Specialist to join our Operations team. If you have strong expertise in AMOS (Swiss-AS), a solid understanding of aviation maintenance processes, and enjoy working at the intersection of IT and business, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
What will you do in this exciting role?
As an AMOS Functional Specialist, you will be the owner and functional reference of AMOS within IT, supporting critical Technical Operations domains such as CAMO and Line Maintenance. You will act as a key link between business and IT, ensuring that the platform evolves in line with operational needs and continues to support a highly regulated aviation environment.
You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, managing system configuration and releases, and supporting a platform used by more than 2,000 users across maintenance and engineering teams. Working closely with business stakeholders, software engineering teams, and external partners, you will help deliver scalable and efficient solutions that impact daily operations.
What you'll do day-to-day:
• Act as the IT owner and functional expert of AMOS, supporting CAMO and Part-145 maintenance operations
• Work closely with business teams to understand needs and translate them into system solutions
• Manage incidents, service requests, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Configure, test, and support releases within AMOS
• Collaborate on integrations (e.g., SAP and other systems), data flows, and reporting
• Support user management, roles, and audit-related activities within the system
• Drive cross-functional initiatives involving architecture, security, and engineering teams
• Contribute to the AMOS product roadmap and evolution
What we’re looking for:
• 3–7 years of experience working with AMOS (Swiss-AS)
• Experience in airline or MRO environments
• Solid understanding of CAMO and/or Part-145 maintenance operations
• Experience working as a bridge between IT and business teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Autonomous, proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
What would be a plus:
• Knowledge of AMOS modules (Maintenance Planning, Technical Records, Work Orders, Materials)
• Experience with system integrations, reporting, or data analysis
• Familiarity with aviation IT ecosystem (ERP, Ops, Logistics systems)
• Agile or product-oriented mindset
