As a Response Planner you’ll be responsible for ensuring product availability by aligning supply with demand, managing risks, and coordinating flows across the logistics network. E2E visibility and strong cross‑functional collaboration is required in order to drive alignment, manage risks, and ensure customer needs. This role also supports launches, monitors key KPIs, and drives continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
In This Role, Their Main Responsibilities Are
* Ensure that supplies from our European production network are optimised in line with sales forecasts and expected coverage levels.
* Coordinating product flows and distribution within the logistics network, taking into account warehouse capacity constraints.
* Identify, assess, and communicate supply risks, proposing mitigation actions to commercial and internal teams while ensuring proper follow‑up across all supply chain functions.
* Analyse recurring disruptions to determine root causes, proactively implement solutions, and challenge production plans when shortages are projected to minimise service losses.
* Manage stock‑out analysis, validate the feasibility of promotional volumes, and ensure optimal stock distribution across the logistics network.
* Monitor our key performance indicators (KPIs): Despatch rate, Stock cover (DOH), obsoletes & residuals etc.
* Coordinate new product launches and range relaunches in collaboration with head office teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Demand Planner) as well as factories and European teams.
* Anticipate and minimise obsolete products, proactively propose solutions to sell them off and lead the follow‑up of actions undertaken with the various business partners.
* Responsible for repacking planning activities, ensuring product availability in line with customer needs.
* Drive continuous improvement across the supply chain by identifying process issues and collaborating with stakeholders to optimise and simplify workflows. Proactively implement improvement initiatives and ensure actions are executed to streamline operations.
Experiences & Qualifications
* Master’s Degree from a recognized university. (Engineering, Business Management or similar).
* Initial previous experience in supply chain management roles (1‑2 years required).
* Fluency in English required, communication with European teams on a daily basis.
* PowerBI + PowerPoint skills & Excellent MS Excel.
* Experience with SAP and/or any other ERP is appreciated as well as experience with planning systems (APO, RapidResponse).
* Excellent communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate and partner on multiple activities.
* Adapts quickly to change into a dynamic organisational structure.
* Hard‑working and with the ability to perform well in challenging complex environments, working well under pressure, and prioritising within tight deadlines.
* Good presentation, influencing, and communication skills with stakeholders.
* Self‑starter and have analytical, problem‑solving skills.
