At Exceltic, we are looking for a Ground Segment System Engineer to join a top-tier team involved in multiorbital satellite constellations. You will work in a secure, international, and multidisciplinary environment, contributing to the development of critical infrastructure for institutional and defense missions.
🛠️ Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to Ground Segment System Engineering activities, especially in satellite communication constellations.
- Prepare technical documentation:
- ▪ Specifications
- ▪ Architecture and design documents
- ▪ Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
- ▪ Design Justification Files
- Define Ground Segment interfaces and support system Verification & Validation (V&V;) activities.
- Participate in technical reviews with customers and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
🎯 Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Satellite Ground Segment projects.
- Proven experience managing relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Solid background in institutional projects and multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of communication protocols and cybersecurity principles.
- Theoretical and practical understanding of Satellite Communications and/or Ground Segment Engineering.
- Familiarity with System Engineering methodologies in satellite/aerospace environments.
- Strong ability to maintain a system-level perspective.
- Experience using System Engineering and Requirements Management tools.
- EU nationality and willingness to undergo EU Secret Clearance.
- Fluent English (spoken and written); additional European languages are a plus.
