The position to be filled is a Service Configuration Control Engineer. The role will involve receiving and understanding inputs from several sources, such as Design Office, Airworthiness Directives, Aircraft Modifications, Service Bulletins, and determining the preliminary impact that this can cause downstream in the affected service areas. These areas are:
* Technical Publications
* Training
* IPD
* Maintenance Programs
* Simulators
* Light Operations
* Reference Data
* Supportability
A Service Configuration Control Engineer is in charge of performing the initial assessment of impact, redirecting them to the affected service areas, and following up on the implementation process.
Additionally, the person could be involved in other activities inside the Integrated Logistic Support Department (ILS).
