Hitachi Energy is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our Business Unit Transformers team in Cordoba factory in the Operations department where technical expertise and experience in maintaining high‐tech equipment are highly valued. In this role you will oversee maintenance operations, ensuring all machinery, equipment, and facilities run reliably and efficiently. Your Responsibilities
Develop and implement maintenance plans with continuous optimization through root‐cause analysis
Oversee execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, tools, production lines, and facilities, ensuring all run reliably and efficiently
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, promoting a safe and compliant work environment
Lead and develop the maintenance team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and optimize resources for cost‐effectiveness; work on quotations from external suppliers to reduce cost and delivery time without compromising quality
Maintain accurate maintenance records, generate reports, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement
Define and implement improvements to increase reliability, safety conditions, and useful life of the equipment
Respond to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption to production; solve major technical, equipment, or facilities problems to achieve higher performance of the production lines
Develop future digitalization of equipment
Your Background
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or related technical field
Minimum of 5 years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, equipment reliability, and HSE standards
Additional knowledge of SAP and GMAO is valued
Self‐motivated, enthusiastic, cooperative, positive behavior, and the ability to work in a team environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Adept at troubleshooting complex equipment issues and implementing effective solutions
Ability to manage multiple priorities, resources, and maintain detailed documentation efficiently
Very good written and spoken English
