Job Summary:
We're looking for an experienced Network Control Center Manager on behalf of one of our major clients located in Valencia, Spain. The NCC Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the Network Control Center (NCC), ensuring high-quality service delivery, effective incident management, and alignment with organizational standards and procedures. The role acts as the primary escalation point, coordinates with parallel NCC teams, and ensures compliance with IT service management frameworks and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise all NCC activities, including oversight of NCC Supervisors
* Serve as the highest escalation point for operational and service-related issues
* Report critical issues and risks impacting service delivery to SGITT management
* Coordinate closely with NCC Brindisi to ensure unified and consistent operations
* Attend and contribute to periodic service review meetings with senior management
* Participate in regular meetings with subject matter expert engineering teams
* Attend Change Management Board (CMB) meetings when required
* Oversee risk management activities, particularly during audits
* Participate in SISMS internal and external audit sessions
* Assume overall responsibility for incidents handled by the NCC
* Organize and conduct staff awareness and training sessions
* Develop, update, and maintain NCC operational documentation
* Review and approve technical and procedural documentation from support units
* Provide monitoring data and reports to SGITT management upon request
* Prepare and deliver timely and accurate service reports
Required Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT service management, network operations, or similar roles (additional experience is considered an asset)
* ITIL v3 Expert certification or ITIL 4 Managing Professional (MP) certification
* Minimum B2 level English proficiency (certified)
* Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
* Experience in incident, change, and risk management processes
Preferred Skills
* Experience in international or multi-site operational environments
* Familiarity with audit processes and compliance frameworks
* Strong analytical and reporting skills
* Ability to manage high-pressure situations and critical incidents
