Manager, Marketing and Communications (Executive Officer)
Position: Manager, Marketing and Communications (Executive Officer) in Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. Full‑time position with a two‑year fixed‑term contract. Start date: as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
* Support the Faculty’s development in the Executive Education portfolio, including programme development, marketing and execution.
* Work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus.
* Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies for executive education programmes across Asia, especially China.
* Engage with the business sector to build and maintain a solid network.
* Oversee the production of written content, proofread and edit materials in English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
* Coordinate projects and manage timelines under tight deadlines.
* Supervise and lead a small team where required.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in communications, business or related field.
* Approximately 5 years of work experience, at least 3 years in marketing, corporate communication, copywriting, news reporting in a commercial or business setting.
* Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) communication skills.
* Proficient proofreading and editing of bilingual content.
* Strong customer service, project management, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
* Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to work independently under pressure and multitask with tight deadlines.
* Detail‑oriented mindset and positive attitude.
* Basic knowledge of graphic design and high computer literacy.
* In‑depth understanding of social media channels in Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland.
* Experience supervising or leading a team.
* Knowledge of executive education programmes in Asian market and network within business sector a definite advantage.
Contract & Compensation
Two‑year fixed term with contract‑end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary. Possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Annual leave and medical benefits provided.
