In this role you will develop and optimize liquid process designs to support presales and project delivery, aligning with the NPE Division’s strategy and the company’s growth goals. You will promote standardization and modularization, drive continuous improvement, and lead technical guidance across cross-functional teams. You’ll collaborate with sales, engineering, and project teams to solve complex design challenges and ensure compliant, high-quality outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to influence process solutions at scale and advance your expertise within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

• Support presales activities with process designs and solutions
• Collaborate with sales to review RFQs and prepare budgeting for quotations
• Develop PFDs, Pu0026IDs, and equipment specifications; create accurate AutoCAD Plant 3D drawings
• Conduct process calculations, simulations, and modeling for equipment sizing and performance
• Develop and implement process engineering standards and best practices
• Ensure regulatory compliance and perform risk assessments
• Provide technical guidance during project execution and aid in decision-making
• Promote standardization/modularization in liquid process engineering and drive continuous improvement
• Foster team engagement and effective communication of company strategy
• Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate designs with mechanical, electrical, and automation systems
• Report progress to Process Engineering Manager and stakeholders
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field
• Experience as a process engineer in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or bioprocessing industries
• Strong knowledge of mass/energy balances, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and equipment design
• Proficiency in process simulation software and CAD tools xpzdshu (AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Familiarity with FDA, cGMP, EHEDG standards
• Experience in RFQ review, budgeting, and quotation preparations
• Project management and multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Spanish (native) and English (B2/C1)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, capable of handling multiple projects
