In this influential role, you will ensure technical excellence, enterprise-wide alignment, and scalable integration, directly enabling the trustworthy use of AI to improve patients’ lives. /p h3The Opportunity /h3 ul libArchitectural Design Strategy: /b define and lead the architecture of the AI Registry and related governance platforms, ensuring scalable, secure, future‑ready, and ethically sound solutions that promote fairness, transparency, and resilience in AI systems. /li libCross‑Organizational Alignment: /b ensure AI governance platforms are consistent with Roche’s enterprise architecture, align solutions with enterprise security, compliance, and data governance standards, drive interoperability and trust, actively promote diversity and mitigate bias in AI development and deployment. /li libIntegrated Solution Oversight: /b oversee complex, integrated solutions, identify architectural risks early, enforce best practices, and guide teams through resolution of critical technical challenges, focusing on ethical impact assessments and ensuring AI supports, rather than replaces, human expertise. /li libTechnical Leadership Mentorship: /b provide architectural expertise and guidance to software and data engineers, mentor teams on solution design, technical patterns, and best practices to drive consistent, high‑quality outcomes, emphasizing responsible AI development and ethical considerations. /li libTechnology Trends Evaluation: /b continuously assess emerging technologies, architectural patterns, and industry trends, and provide actionable recommendations to strengthen and future‑proof Roche’s AI governance platforms and processes. /li libDocumentation Communication: /b develop high‑quality architectural documentation, diagrams, and roadmaps, and clearly communicate complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, including insights on ethical implications and responsible AI practices. /li /ul h3Who You Are /h3 pbExperience: /b /p ul li7+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or a similar senior technical design role, with a strong focus on data platforms and ideally AI systems/platforms. /li liProven track record of designing and overseeing integrated solutions across diverse technology landscapes. /li liFamiliarity with the AI/ML lifecycle, MLOps, or data governance platforms is highly advantageous. /li liExperience working in a complex, global enterprise environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or other regulated industries. /li /ul pbTechnical Skills: /b /p ul liDeep expertise in cloud‑native architecture (Azure, AWS, or GCP), microservices, APIs, and scalable data architectures. /li liStrong understanding of software engineering principles, system integration patterns, security best practices, and data management. /li liKnowledge of Responsible AI principles, AI ethics, or AI governance frameworks is a significant plus. /li /ul pbLeadership Soft Skills: /b /p ul liExceptional ability to lead technical discussions, achieve alignment, and influence architectural decisions across cross‑functional teams. /li liStrategic thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to address complex technical challenges. /li liOutstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex architectural concepts to both technical and executive audiences. /li liCollaborative, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning and technical excellence. /li /ul h3What you get /h3 ul liSalary range (for Poland) 20 000 – 27 000 PLN gross based on the employment contract.
