Are you highly motivated, results-oriented, and currently pursuing a degree in life sciences? Have you ever wanted to apply your technical background beyond the lab bench—expanding your knowledge in cell analysis solutions, the market landscape, and developing your sales and customer-facing skills?

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and highly experienced EMEAI Cell Analysis Sales Team as an Inside Sales Intern, supporting the Agilent Cell Analysis portfolio. Apply the knowledge you’ve gained during your studies in a professional environment, where you’ll learn and contribute in the following ways:
1. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify new customers and follow up on leads in collaboration with the team and Marketing, using sales management tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Salesforce. Prospecting may also involve finding new partners to support new instrument launches and other initiatives.
2. Quotes and Order Confirmations: Prepare and manage quotes, process order confirmations, and follow up on customer requests.
3. Customer Database Management: Register new customers, maintain records, and follow up with existing customers to ensure up-to-date information.
4. Support for Marketing Campaigns and Events: Assist with marketing initiatives, including local sales workshops and virtual events.
This internship is based in Barcelona, Spain, and is ideally full-time for a duration of 6 to 12 months. The start date could be as early as July 2025.

Qualifications
Who are we looking for:
A current student with a strong work ethic, studying towards an academic degree in life sciences or related. Ideally, you are in your last 1-2 years of studies.
To be successful in your internship, you would also ideally need to be/ have:
5. Organized, self-motivated, able to balance priorities & to work independently.
6. Proficient in English - other European languages are an advantage; both spoken and written, paired with great communication skills in general.
7. An interest in working in a customer-facing environment.
8. Experience using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Note that the internship needs to be formalized via an academic training agreement between Agilent and your University; please, make sure you are eligible for such a training agreement when applying for the role.
