Project Manager, IND-Europeat GRUNDFOS
The Project Manager's primary responsibility is to manage European Industry projects from negotiation to commissioning, ensuring customer satisfaction and profitable business.
What is the job about?Manage high complexity projects utilizing the agreed systems and project execution processes, in a timely fashion, acting as a project manager for those projects assigned to him/her. It is required to be on site, coordinating with the customer, planning, subcontractors, and ensuring technical solutions. Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of the project:
tasks, resources, dates, costs, financials, etc., maximizing profitable sales through delivery of projects from order fulfillment to after-sales, meeting time, cost, and quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction. Monitor compliance with contracts, codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, Health & Safety, and specifications. Follow, adhere, and ensure a high level of awareness of Grundfos project execution processes. Serve as the main point of contact with the customer for the project, handling customer issues and working closely with other departments. Be the main technical responsible for the project, providing technical solutions and documentation. Visit sites and manage sub-suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure service levels are met for timely, cost-effective, and quality project delivery. Support quotation and proposal teams in project evaluation concerning scope, time, cost, risks, and quality. Report project finances and status, and compile closing project and lessons learned documentation. Conduct logistics activities in the workshop to ensure timely and accurate delivery to site. Collaborate with Finance/Credit Control to secure on-time payments. Maintain professionalism with customers at all times.
What do you need to apply?
Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering and relevant project management experience from a large international company in a similar role.
Proficiency in English and Spanish;
knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
Proven experience delivering demanding projects in complex, dynamic environments on time, within budget, and with quality.
Strong business and technical skills, with talent for effective communication across groups.
Knowledge of pumps, dosing, and disinfection systems.
Experience in contract management.
Familiarity with project management competencies:
technical expertise, finance, logistics, contracts, quality, H&S, ISO norms, export regulations, etc.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment.
Experience with CRM, SAP PS, BW, Office, project management tools, CAD, etc.
Travel within the role is expected.
