About the Role We are looking for an Expatriate Site Manager to join a major public civil engineering project in Stockholm. In this key role, you will provide critical on-site leadership and operational support to the Project Manager, ensuring the successful execution and delivery of high-profile infrastructure works.
Responsibilities Provide direct on-site support to the Project Manager in the day-to-day management and coordination of construction activities.
Oversee site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Supervise subcontractors and site personnel, coordinating resources and resolving on-site challenges.
Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations, safety regulations, and Swedish public sector requirements.
Assist in planning, progress reporting, and maintaining site documentation.
Qualifications & Experience 4-5 years of proven experience in site management, specifically within public civil engineering or infrastructure contracts.
International project experience is highly valued.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, safety protocols, and quality assurance.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Swedish is advantageous but not essential.
