What You’ll Do
- Translates the production plan into mid‑long term Material Requirements Plan, ensuring availability of production material under the consideration of forecasts.
- Ensures correct ordering of material supply in terms of quantity and time while optimizing order size and minimizing obsoletes.
- Maintains the time and quantity MRP parameters, aggregates cross‑category requirements and acts on any MRP exceptions in accordance with the production plan / finite schedule.
- Collaborates with suppliers and conducts Rough Cut Capacity Planning for all material requirements vs. qualified sources of supply to support the production plan at an effective cost.
- Supports material inventory analysis by reviewing inventory policies, tracking and managing slow‑movers, and monitoring obsoletes.
- Maintains select manufacturing parameters.
- Identifies material sourcing risks or opportunities and escalates issues to the appropriate parties (internal and external).
- Identifies and supports continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning performance and improve supply.
What makes you a good fit
- Industrial engineering, Business Administration, or related educational background;
a master’s degreeis valuable.
- 1‑3 years of experience as an intern or employee in material management.
- Digital expertise in analytical tools like Excel, Power BI or similar.
- Fluent level of English and a valuable second language.
- Good teamwork and a willingness to improve processes and projects.
