Job Description

At Syngenta, our goal is to build the most collaborative and trustworthy team in agriculture, providing top-quality seeds and innovative crop protection solutions that improve farmers' success. To support this mission, Syngenta's Research & Development Seeds team is seeking a Agricultural Field Technician in Carmona, Seville. This role will support the delivery of seed development activities across field and nursery operations by:

Accountabilities: Planning and executing core agronomic operations - sowing, planting, sampling, harvesting, maintenance, and crop isolations - in both field and nursery settings.
\n
Recording and reporting agronomic data (flowering, diseases, and other key indicators) using Syngenta's operational tools and standards.
\n
Supporting greenhouse operations in Carmona during off-peak field periods, contributing to year-round productivity.
\n
Coordinating with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth information flow and alignment across the seed production cycle.
\n
Supervising temporary field staff when required, and actively contributing to process improvement and operational efficiency.
\n
Qualifications
\n
Agricultural Engineering degree or FP in any agricultural field.
\n
Solid knowledge of agronomy; basic understanding of plant breeding is a plus.
\n
Previous experience in field or greenhouse agricultural activities, including crop management or seed-related operations.
\n
Familiarity with driving and handling agricultural machinery.
\n
Proficiency with standard IT tools (Microsoft Office).
\n
Functional level of English (able to communicate); French is a plus.
\n
Strong teamwork mindset, results orientation, and ability to adapt to changing seasonal demands
