We are looking for a motivated, service-oriented professional to join our team as a Head Chef to cover a temporary sick leave.
What you can expect
- Overall responsibility for the smooth running of the total quality, service, financial management, operations management and employee aspects of our 3 outlets (including staff canteen) and overseeing 10 chefs.
- You create, modify and develop recipes, standardizing production to ensure consistent quality.
- You elaborate, organise, assign and actively participate in the preparation of all dishes and coordinate daily tasks with the kitchen team.
- You will report directly to Resort Management and the Corporate Food & Beverage Manager.
- Creation and control of employee duty rosters (in agreement with the resort management)
- Training of new employees
What you bring along
- Proven record of achievements in a similar position within the hotel-industry.
- Good knowledge of English and Spanish as well as in hygiene and HACCP standards.
- Computer literacy and financial skills in terms of budgeting, forecasting and controlling.
- Reliability and an independent and goal-oriented way of working
