Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable In-House Legal Counselor to oversee our legal department. This critical role involves managing all legal aspects of our business operations, with a focus on Business Law and Data Protection under GDPR. The ideal candidate will be proficient in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, and will act as our Data Protection Officer to ensure GDPR compliance. What You Need to Achieve Contract management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, partners, suppliers, and employees to protect the company's interests. Compliance and risk management: Ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations, especially related to business operations and data protection. Conduct risk assessments and provide legal advice to mitigate issues. Data protection: Serve as Data Protection Officer, implementing strategies, managing incidents, and maintaining records in line with GDPR. Experience as a Data Protection Officer with thorough GDPR knowledge. Experience in the tech or health sectors is preferred. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
