Job Overview:
We’re looking for a talented AVEVA PI Engineer ready to make an impact.
If you have 1–3 years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and maintaining AVEVA PI Historian systems, this is your chance to take your skills to the next level.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of industrial data operations—supporting and optimizing historian infrastructure, ensuring data accuracy, and enabling seamless integration with enterprise applications. You won’t just maintain systems;

What you will do:
* Implement & Optimize AVEVA PI Systems: Install, configure, and maintain PI Historian, ensuring seamless integration with other systems and applications.
* Manage Data Integrity: Apply validation processes to guarantee accurate, reliable data across platforms.
* Enhance Performance: Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimization strategies for peak efficiency.
* Configure Tags: Create and maintain PI tags and metadata to meet project requirements.
* Enable Integration: Work with automation and control engineers to connect PI Historian with control systems and develop interfaces for reporting and analytics tools.
* Ensure Security & Compliance: Apply robust security measures and maintain adherence to industry standards and regulations.
* Document & Share Knowledge: Maintain clear documentation and create user guides and training materials to support system adoption.
Requirements:
* Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
* Between 3 and 5 years of hands-on experience with design, implementation and leadership in projects, comprising of the following systems: AVEVA PI, AspenTech IP.21, AspenTech Inmation, Inductive Automation Ignition, PTC Kepware.
* In-depth knowledge of data integration and historian system architecture and components.
* Strong understanding of industrial processes and automation systems.
* Expertise with data contextualisation, visualisation and reporting platforms.
* Proficiency in scripting languages (e.G., PowerShell) for automation tasks.
* Previous experience in mentoring and leading a technical team
* Good communication skills
