Purpose of the function
Lead continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across the site, partnering with local department leaders to deploy, standardize, and sustain operational excellence through effective KPI controlling and performance management.
Responsibilities
Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, root-cause analysis (5Why, A3), PFMEA, control plans, and Kaizen events.
Eliminate inefficiencies (non-added value activities, lean waste, Muda (waste), Muri (overburden) and Mura (unevenness)) to stabilize production lines, increase output, and reduce operational costs.
Perform process characterization, capability studies, tolerance stack-ups, and statistical analysis to establish process windows and control limits.
Create and maintain process documentation: SOPs, work instructions, change notices, training materials. Train operators and engineering teams.
Proven experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement implementations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, industrial or organization preferred. xpzdshu
4-5 years of experience working as a Process/Manufacturing Engineer
Experience with CAD-CAM software, wood machining preferred.
Experience working with 2D/3D CAD Software
Fluent in Spanish and English
