Bring your full funnel commercial brand marketing expertise, critical thinking, and energy to help deliver our mission: to develop the builders of tomorrow through play. This role is based in our Madrid office and covers the France Iberian region.
All applications must be in English. No relocation support is offered for this role.
Key Location & Working Conditions
Madrid office, three days per week in office and two days working from home.
Core Responsibilities
- Brand planning and implementation (40%) - Drive and implement an annual activation calendar in close collaboration with Trade marketing, Brand Communication, Digital, Sales, and Customer Development. Own and develop innovative marketing strategies that drive brand equity and build active share, re activation, and frequency. Contribute to marketing strategy development, objective setting, and consumer communications planning. Analyze competitor activity and shopper behaviour to adapt brand strategies. Provide input into product development and track customer satisfaction. Own external media agency partner relationships.
- Business Management (30%) - Manage marketing campaign budgets and financials. Analyse and evaluate brand and campaign performance, initiating corrective actions. Provide marketing support to Sales to accompany the business development of our brands with key in market customers.
- Project Management (30%) - Act as an ambassador for Brand in cross functional in market and regional projects to enhance collaboration and coherence of marketing activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Direct and proven commercial experience in a result focused brand marketing role within an international consumer goods company, preferably with exposure to toys, gaming or entertainment.
- In depth understanding of omnichannel retail campaign marketing activities with strategic impact, coupled with solid digital capabilities (eCommerce, Social, Influence, etc.) and knowledge of key digital and media trends in the children and/or toys market.
- Experience planning and implementing strategic marketing campaigns (offline and online) for third party retailers based on detailed analytical and budget focused metrics.
- A collaborative, data driven approach to work with partners and agencies, and a team focused mindset.
- Fluency in Spanish and business proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Availability to work three days in the Madrid office per week and two days from home.
