We are currently recruiting at JTB VIAJES SPAIN a Project Manager (English Speaking) with previous experience in the MICE industry to join our passionate team. This position will be based in Sevilla or Malaga.Responsibilities include
Determine client needs and expectations, liaising with sales to ascertain client requirementsCreate, plan, and deliver large-scale events for various foreign clients throughout the yearProposal creation and pitch, when requiredFull logistics management including accommodation bookings and all land arrangements within the full domestic territorySupplier management before, during, and after the eventNegotiating with third parties to maximize valueClient and account management to ensure repeat businessOnsite event managementBudget management and post-event reconciliationProduce pre/post event evaluations to analyze and improve service deliveryReporting to stakeholdersResearch and identify issues, resolve them, and make recommendations for improvementEnsure Atlas (M&E operational/financial system) is updated monthlyTo succeed in the role, you should have
A passion for the event industry and a proactive attitudeCuriosity about the hospitality environment and enthusiasm to share knowledgeExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a complex environmentExperience managing multiple events and third-party vendorsStrong administrative and financial understandingProficiency in ITCandidate requirements
Advanced English speaking skillsAt least 3 years of experience in the MICE industryFluent in English and Spanish, both written and spokenDeep knowledge of the Spanish territory and MICE services offeredStrong organizational skills and proficiency in MS OfficeTeam player with the ability to work independentlyWillingness to travel nationally and work irregular hours
