Summary CHS has an exciting opportunity to join our EMEA Trade Execution team as a Container Export Execution Specialist, based in our Barcelona office. This role plays a key part in connecting our cooperative’s global operations with international markets, adding value for our producers, owners, customers, and stakeholders through precise and compliant export execution.
Responsibilities
Execute container export shipments through the BSM system, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant documentation aligned with international regulations.
Coordinate with government agencies (USDA, US Customs, FDA, etc.) and steamer lines to meet logistical and contractual requirements.
Collaborate closely with merchandising, logistics, and accounting teams to ensure contracts are properly set up and executed.
Build and maintain effective relationships with customers to ensure accurate and timely shipments, providing updates and ongoing support.
Oversee customer contracts in designated trade regions, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Generate accurate invoices and support timely collection and application of payments.
Apply relevant government regulations and compliance tools, advising customers and ensuring internal adherence to policies.
Maintain accurate spreadsheets tracking various commodities and bookings.
Promote a strong safety culture by identifying hazards and correcting or escalating unsafe conditions.
