Overview
A global manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Freelance/Interim SAP Integration Project Manager to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA greenfield transformation programme. This is a critical delivery role responsible for coordinating complex integration workstreams across a diverse enterprise landscape.
The Role
You will lead end-to-end integration delivery across multiple platforms, ensuring systems communicate effectively, securely, and at scale. Acting as the bridge between business, architecture, and technical teams, you will drive execution, manage dependencies, and uphold delivery governance across the programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and manage the integration delivery roadmap aligned to programme milestones
* Coordinate cross-functional teams including SAP, integration, CRM, and external vendors
* Manage integration backlog, priorities, risks, and interdependencies
* Ensure compliance with integration standards, governance, and documentation
* Act as the primary point of contact for integration across business and IT stakeholders
* Oversee quality of integration design, testing, and deployment readiness
* Lead hypercare and post-go-live stabilisation activities
* Manage third-party vendors and offshore delivery teams
Environment & Scope
* SAP S/4HANA (RISE Private Cloud) with embedded MDG
* SAP BTP Integration Suite and Informatica (IICS)
* Broad ecosystem including CRM, MES, finance systems, EDI/B2G, e-commerce, and SaaS platforms
* Fast-paced, large-scale global transformation programme
Key Requirements
* Proven experience delivering integration workstreams within SAP transformation programmes

* Strong coordination across multiple teams, vendors, and stakeholders
* Solid understanding of integration platforms and patterns (APIs, EDI, event-driven, etc.)
* Ability to review and challenge technical artefacts (designs, test plans)
* Experience working across complex system landscapes (ERP, CRM, manufacturing, finance, etc.)
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Desirable Experience
* Exposure to B2G/EDI or regulatory integrations
* E-commerce or CRM integration experience
* Knowledge of manufacturing (MES) integrations
* Familiarity with SAP cloud and integration architecture models
