IREC-CERCA is looking for a Project Manager to join our Project Management Team. This Position will be funded within the frame of ‘TransHEner3.0 - Fostering sustainability and energy transition in Horizon Europe’ of the Agencia Estatal de Investigación (AEI). We are seeking for a professional who aims working in a leading research institution who is preferably familiar with management of EU funded projects. Under the supervision of the project leader and the group leader, the project manager:
* Will carry out tasks aimed at achieving the objectives set in the aforementioned project
* Will be dealing with the administrative, financial and legal management of EU funded projects (mainly focused on HORIZON EUROPE framework program).
In this sense, its main functions will be:
* Participation and support in the different tasks of TransHEner3.0 project.
* Participation and support in the preparation of the different deliverables of the project.
* Project monitoring and reporting of the TransHEner3.0 project.
* Management of administrative, financial and legal aspects of EU research projects. Administrative and financial monitoring of projects once awarded.
* Support to researchers in project management during the post-award phase.
* Preparation and presentation of financial reports.
* Participation and support in project audits.
* Any other task linked to administrative, financial and/or legal management.
Qualifications and experience required :
Essential :
* University Degree in Science, Engineering, Technology or Economy. Other academic degrees could also be accepted.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
* Good level of English, Catalan and Spanish language.
Preferred :
* Project Management training.
* Some experience working in a similar role.
* Some knowledge or experience in other research institutions.
* Some Knowledge or experience in the use of SAP as ERP software.
Personal skills :
* Self-motivated, open-minded and team worker.
* Analytical and synthesis capabilities.
* Good communication skills.
