Then start your career as a Power BI Expert (m / f / d) at CGI! Together with your team, you will develop innovative solutions for the digital transformation of renowned clients. In your role as a Power BI expert at CGI, you will bring in-depth knowledge of data modeling, DAX optimization, performance tuning and self-service BI - and understand what really lies behind these concepts. You are familiar with the requirements of modern data platforms, ETL processes and cloud-based BI architectures and find efficient solutions for the challenges of data-driven business processes. You can also translate the requirements of specialist departments into powerful, intuitive dashboards and reports and confidently implement automated data processes for seamless reporting.
Tasks :
* Responsible for the development, maintenance and optimization of powerful Power BI reports and dashboards for complex enterprise data.
* Design and implementation of efficient data models and ETL processes for scalable and high-performance BI solutions.
* Close collaboration with specialist departments and data engineers to ensure optimal data processing and visualization
* Optimization of existing reports and dashboards, ensuring high performance and further development of the BI architecture
* Ensuring high data quality and validity through DAX optimization, performance tuning and automated tests.
* Working in agile and cross-functional teams and actively shaping BI strategies and reporting standards.
* Supporting the implementation of self-service BI solutions and training users.
Qualifications :
* Degree in business informatics, computer science, data science or a comparable qualification
* Sound knowledge and several years of practical experience with Microsoft Power BI, especially in the development of complex data models and dashboards
* Experience in the design and implementation of BI architectures, including data modeling, ETL processes and cloud integration
* In-depth knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M) and SQL to create powerful and optimized reports
* Experience with modern BI and data warehouse technologies (e.g. Azure Synapse, SQL Server, Snowflake)
* Knowledge of integrating data sources from different systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, data lakes, APIs)
* Experience with automation and CI / CD for BI workflows (e.g. with Azure DevOps, Power Automate)
* Confident in agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban) and experience in working with interdisciplinary teams
* Strong analytical skills, a solution-oriented mindset and an independent way of working
* Very good written and spoken German and good English skills (German language level at least C1)
