Project Management Senior Specialist – Amadeus
Overview
As a Project Management Senior Specialist, you will spearhead the onboarding of ACRS customers across hospitality delivery programs, ensuring smooth transitions, consistent quality, and scalable execution. Your role will involve establishing governance frameworks, tracking budgets and milestones, and coordinating cross-functional teams to keep projects on track.
Responsibilities Demonstrate expertise in project and program delivery; serve as a reference for peers and mentor less experienced teammates.
Identify dependencies, risks, and impacts in complex environments and drive process improvements.
Operate independently with guidance in the most complex scenarios, owning commitments.
Establish and maintain project governance standards, processes, and tools supporting consistent ACRS implementations.
Manage project documentation, reporting, financial tracking, risk logs, and change controls for transparency.
Consolidate progress updates and performance data to support stakeholder communication and decision-making.
Facilitate project meetings and alignment across Test Management, Deployment, Implementation, R&D, Product, Partners, and customer teams.
Oversee collaboration platforms such as SharePoint to ensure effective information sharing.
Develop training materials and provide guidance to support adoption of project management practices and tools.
Proactively identify and address risks, issues, and interdependencies.
Participate in communities of practice to share knowledge, drive continuous improvement, and build team capability.
Qualifications 3+ years of project management, PMO, or related operational experience.
Experience in complex program or implementation environments, preferably within hospitality.
Solid understanding of project management principles; PMP, ACP, or equivalent certification is a plus.
Familiarity with measurement, analysis, and process improvement approaches.
Desire to expand into project management while maintaining a strong functional and technical focus.
Highly organized, autonomous, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
Experience with Microsoft ecosystem tools (Excel, SharePoint, Power BI).
