Tasks to be performed
The objective of this contract is to collaborate in the research that will be carried out within the framework of the aforementioned project. This research is aimed at research in green algorithms. The person recruited will focus his/her work on one or more of the following lines of work: development of computationally efficient algorithms, application of artificial intelligence algorithms to problems related to sustainable development, and sustainable robotics.
Candidates must have a Baccalaureate, BUP, FPII or higher vocational training cycle degree. It will also be an essential requirement to join the CITIC during the period of the contract.

Eligibility criteria
A. Assessment of the qualification granting admission (maximum 20 points). If the qualification granting admission is a Science and Technology Baccalaureate, Vocational Training (FPII), or a related higher-level vocational training cycle, 20 points will be awarded. For Baccalaureate degrees from other branches, BUP (university training program), Vocational Training (FPII), or a non-related higher-level vocational training cycle, 10 points will be awarded.
B. Demonstrable experience in the field of the tasks to be performed (Machine learning and experience in software development, maximum 20 points) that can be accredited through software projects on platforms such as GitHub, or similar: up to 10 points for practices carried out in programming languages such as Python, C, etc. (2 points per subject), and up to 10 points for subjects related to machine learning (2 points per subject).
C. Work experience in the field of the tasks to be performed (max. 20 points): up to 2 points for each month of work on projects related to machine learning and artificial intelligence (including scholarships).
D. Knowledge of English: maximum 10 points (from 1 point per level from A1 to B2. Level C1 will be awarded 8 points and level C2 will be awarded 10 points).
E. Other merits not considered in the previous points (courses, awards, etc.): maximum 10 points. Awards received: up to 3 points depending on the regional (1 point), national (2 points), or international (3 points) scope. Training in summer research schools and similar: up to 3 points (1 point per course taken at a summer school).
F. Personal interview: 20 points. Personal interview of the three candidates with the highest scores, provided that their scores in the other sections are less than 15% lower than those of the candidate with the highest score.
Maximum total score 100 points.

Documentation to be submitted by the applicant Interested candidates must submit an application clearly detailing the merits in different sections following the same scheme and the concepts indicated in the assessment criteria. CVs submitted in a format other than the one specified here will not be assessed by the evaluation committee.
Depending on compliance with the requirements and the assessment of merits, an order of priority will be established for the candidates.
The person who obtains the highest score will be awarded. With the rest of the applicants and respecting this order of priority, according to merit, a waiting list will be created, exclusively for this position, which will be used for hiring in the event of resignation, termination or temporary disability leave of the selected person. The minimum score to access the waiting list will be 15 points (excluding the score obtained in the interview.
Justification of the duration
A contract duration of 9 months is proposed, until the end of the project, and is considered sufficient to complete the research tasks of the project.
