Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the services and products delivered to customers meet the required standards.
- Apply space standards, applicable rules and internal quality requirements for SW/HW projects, acting as the contact point for the customer‑designated quality authority.
- Analyse customer quality requirements, define and set up quality plans during the project phase, ensuring the plan contains all necessary measures to fulfil standards and reference systems.
- Follow TAS Quality Management System (QMS) rules Chorus 2 for all processes, tools and methodologies within TAS in Spain.
- Comply with the quality plan, schedule, budgets and specifications for all assigned projects and tasks.
- Manage and contribute to project reviews (KO, EQSR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, TRB, DRB), ensuring consistent and coherent documentation.
- Support technical departments during SW or HW design reviews via Validation Plan, DDQS process activities, checklists or BDREX inputs.
- Coordinate and control all product quality activities within project frameworks (RAMS, M&P;, EEE Parts, Reliability, FMECA, etc.).
- Document and manage changes and deviations of projects (RFDs, NCRs and RFWs).
- Coordinate and supervise Non Conformance Review Boards (NRB) for deviations or non‑compliance with any product specification.
- Identify and propose mitigation actions for critical project points; support product inspection activities (MIPs).
- Prepare the COC and review the EIDP documentation, certifying that the delivered product meets quality requirements and applicable standards.
- Guarantee that subcontractor quality requirements align with general project requirements.
- Supply audit, return and customer complaint data to ensure follow‑up and reporting for risk prevention.
Skills and Experience
- Degree in Physical Sciences, Electronics, Industrial or Telecommunications Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience.
- English for customer interface; French or Italian is a plus.
- Knowledge of quality standards for SW and HW projects and applicable QMS documents for PA/QA activities.
- External and internal communication ability.
- Capability to work within a cross‑functional team and independently.
- Methodologically minded.
- Capability for argumentation and decision orientation.
