CarcaixentSpainEngineering**Process Technology Engineer - Probiotics**Valencia, Spain**Position Summary**:**Essential Job Functions**:- Collaborate with project engineers, technology engineers, the operations team and R&D; to optimize the performance of the new probiotics production facility to meet strategic business plans and customer requirements.- Lead the tech transfer of new strains from R&D; and external partners.- Assist in evaluation of potential JV and M&A; opportunities in the probiotics space.- Serve as a technical partner for the site including production and maintenance employees, plant operations and leadership team, other manufacturing sites, corporate engineering, S&T; organizations, and external partners.- Explore, propose and/or champion new process technologies and equipment suppliers to support operational improvement opportunities.- Display a dedication to lead, develop and support safety and promote a safety culture.
