Venogy Talent is partnering with a leading provider of industrial energy-efficiency solutions to hire an Energy Solutions Engineer who will help heavy-industry clients across Europe cut energy use, lower emissions, and hit their sustainability goals.This is a technical–commercial role working directly with decision-makers and plant engineering teams in sectors such as metals, cement, mining, chemicals, and wastewater—designing tailored solutions that deliver measurable impact.
The roleOwn the technical pre-sales cycle end-to-end: site investigation, data gathering, feasibility, and proposal delivery.Conduct energy audits and develop savings models.Build and maintain relationships with industrial clients across Europe.Collaborate with sales, projects, and engineering to scope and deliver high-quality solutions.Support project delivery with site-specific technical input and performance validation.Identify relevant grants/rebates and support funding applications where applicable.
You'll need3+ years' engineering experience (mechanical or electrical preferred).Proven track record in technical sales, solutions engineering, or business development.Fluent in English and Spanish.Experience in energy efficiency, industrial automation, or decarbonisation.Comfortable working across multiple industrial sectors.
You'll bringExcellent communication and presentation skills.A problem-solving mindset with strong analytical rigour and attention to detail.Initiative, flexibility, and the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.Willingness to travel within Europe.
