We are seeking a passionate Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and safeguard the security of our cloud environments, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
High proficiency in English is required.
This is a 100% remote position for candidates located in Spain.
Functions and Responsibilities:
* Implement, configure, and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, and other XDR components for threat detection, investigation, and response.
* Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for endpoint security, including mobile device management and data protection.
* Implement security hardening measures for Azure-deployed applications following best practices and security frameworks.
* Redesign Azure network security architecture, including Azure Firewall, NSGs, Private Link, etc., to enhance security.
* Manage Microsoft Purview for data governance, DLP, and compliance, including data classification and policy enforcement.
* Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
* Manage Identity and Access Management solutions, including Azure AD and Conditional Access.
* Automate security tasks using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
* Stay updated on cloud security threats, trends, and best practices.
* Provide guidance and training on cloud security to other teams.
Candidate Requirements:
* 3-5 years of IT experience with a focus on cloud security, particularly in Microsoft Azure.
* Deep knowledge of Azure security services and best practices.
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender XDR solutions.
* Experience with Microsoft Intune and Azure networking/security services.
* Security hardening experience for Azure applications and infrastructure.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, IAM principles, and Azure AD.
* Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) and IaC tools (ARM, Terraform).
* Knowledge of security standards and compliance, e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR.
* Experience in security monitoring and incident response.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English and Spanish.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
* Security certifications (CCSP, CISSP, Security+) are a plus.
