Task & Accountabilities
- Plan, initiate, lead and execute projects in the Launchers & New Space Product line using project management processes, methods and tools to meet cost, quality and schedule targets.
- Project structuring/WBS definition: define and set up the project Work Breakdown Structure, allocate resources, schedule and track milestones.
- Coordinate tasks and activities of the Project Core Team members and interface with supporting departments.
- Act as the customer focal point and main interface.
- Planning, identifying, reporting and mitigating critical paths and tracking internal/external milestones.
- Risk and opportunity management: identify risks, set mitigation actions and track opportunities.
- Project cost control including contract change management and periodic financial review consolidation to meet enterprise financial targets.
- Internal and external reporting by delivering standardized dashboards, KPI’s and trend charts.
- Plan and organize project reviews and maturity gates.
- Ensure proper configuration management.
- Support contractual data management.
- Set development and management plans to define hardware model logic and strategy to meet customer requirements and achieve project milestones.
- Preparation of offers.
- Travel for business as required.
Required Skills
- Degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or related discipline.
- Negotiation level communication skills in English and Spanish.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in project management.
- PMI certification or equivalent (preferred but not required).
- Active listening and leadership skills.
- Rigorous, autonomous, customer‑oriented mindset and ability to prioritise workload.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including communication, multi‑functional team‑working, flexibility and proactive behaviour.
