We are seeking a
Senior Data Engineer
to design, build, and maintain scalable data processing pipelines. The ideal candidate will have expertise in
Python, SQL, ETL processes, Azure & Databricks. You will collaborate closely with Data Scientists to ensure data integration, quality and support advanced analytics.
Required
+3 years of experience
with
Python ,
SQL
(Joins, Group By, subqueries, and temporary tables),
Apache Spark, Azure (Data Factory and Databricks), and DevOps tools such as
Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.
Strong critical thinking, problem solving and decision‑making skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Results‑oriented and proactive, with the ability to drive change in fast‑paced, unstructured environments.
Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
100% remote from Spain (legal and physical residence in Spain)
Role & Responsibilities
Implement and manage cloud data storage systems.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide suitable solutions.
Ensure data quality, integrity and security.
Automate data ingestion, cleaning and transformation processes.
Monitor the performance of data systems and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Optimize performance and scalability of Big Data solutions.
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
