WHAT`S IN YOUR LUGGAGE? YOU HAVE/YOU ARE....
- At least 2–3 years of experience in hotel front desk operations, preferably at 4- or 5-star hotels.
- Previous experience as a Senior Front Desk Agent, Shift Leader, or Supervisor.
- Experience handling incidents, complaints, and day-to-day operations.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (required); German is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in hotel PMS systems (Opera cloud, Protel, SIHOT, Mews, etc.).
- Knowledge of OTAs and online reputation management (Booking, Expedia, ReviewPro, TripAdvisor).
- Cashier duties, month-end closings, billing, deposits, and collections.
- Occupancy tracking, forecasting, and room allocation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
WHAT’S YOR JOB ABOUT?
- Supervise the daily operation of the front office and ensure smooth shift execution.
- Ensure check-in and check-out processes are carried out efficiently and according to standards.
- Review, adjust, and prepare arrivals, departures, room availability and assignments, as well as occupancy, incident, and forecast reports.
- Ensure correct handling of payments, deposits, and billing.
- Welcome VIP guests and maintain contact throughout their stay.
- Handle complaints and incidents professionally, recording them in the system, escalating to GEX when necessary, following up, and communicating accordingly.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping regarding room status.
- Maintain communication with other departments regarding guest needs, groups, and events.
- Supervise team performance and ensure service standards are met.
- Train and support new team members.
- Organize team tasks, shifts, and breaks.
- Identify opportunities to improve the guest experience.
- Support online reputation management and respond to reviews.
- Ensure guest information is accurate and up to date.
- Remain visible, approachable, and available throughout the shift.
- Oversee cleanliness, organization, and overall image of the front office area.
- Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of senior management.
- Make operational decisions in unforeseen situations and ensure proper resolution.
