Job Overview 
Amazon is seeking a Project Manager to oversee and coordinate the execution of new build infrastructure and expansion/retrofit projects in our Integral Customer Fulfillment (GCF) network. The role leads a team of support personnel, coordinates resources, and ensures projects meet timelines, budgets and standards. The Project Manager manages medium to large capital projects with aggressive schedule commitments, coordinating internal business units and external vendors, and interacting with all levels of the organization. 
Key Responsibilities 
- Manage new and existing programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizations. 
- Partner with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set priorities and milestones, and drive delivery. 
- Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers, and escalating as appropriate. 
- Influence design and development of strategic processes. 
- Work with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives. 
- Develop, implement, and govern the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program, project, or sub-task. 
- Provide accountability while reporting on status, asking for help, and immediately escalating issues and problems as necessary. 
- Maintain overall project schedule that enables the teams to be successful based upon the project milestones and Go-Live. 
- Position includes travel up to 50% (Nationwide). 
Basic Qualifications 
- 7+ years of program or project management experience. 
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements. 
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership. 
- 5+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience. 
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field. 
- Ability to effectively communicate Amazon requirements to various audiences (e.g., senior management, peers, public officials, vendors). 
Preferred Qualifications 
- 5+ years of driving process improvements experience. 
- Master’s degree or MBA in business, operations, human resources, or related field. 
- Proficiency in Spanish, French, Polish, Arabic, Portuguese, Turkish, Afrikaans and Zulu is preferred.
