What you will do:

This role is for an experienced engineering people manager who understands the magic of software development processes at scale and appreciates the challenges of powering ultrahigh volume transactional systems with an ambition of quasirealtime response times and stellar reliability

As an eDOer you will have clear objectives great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers As a Lead Engineer PHP in the Accommodation you will be in charge of:
1. Work with a topnotch tech stack such as PHP 82 MariaDB Redis RabbitMQ ClickHouse Kong Docker GCP Grafana Kibana AI tools
2. Actively participate in the product definition and ideation processes
3. Code solutions with the highest quality through good design attention to detail and test quality
4. Work in a fully agile organisation using Kanban practices to deliver business value continuously
5. Own and monitor the performance of product and technical OKRs
6. Help the team grow by mentoring more junior team members to continue improving giving feedback and sharing your expertise
7. Challenge decisions be proactive and seek to improve technical excellence

People Manager of a team of at least 23 years of experience Coaching and mentoring is a passion Strategic mindset and cando attitude More than 7 years experience with PHP and knowledge of Java is of advantage Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals data structures concurrency design patterns algorithms Great technical mindset to work in an environment where we promote the use of microservices platforms clean code SOLID principles and TDD Strong data driven capabilities and that will allow you to face our business challenges Knowledge of Cloud and of Continuous Delivery environments to help you deliver value quickly Ability to analyse challenge decisions constructively and provide creative solutions to complex problems focusing on the outcome and not on the tasks
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Applied AI Tools: Demonstrated comfort using practical AI tools such as GitHub Copilot ChatGPT or other AIpowered coding assistants Experimentation Mindset: Curiosity and eagerness to explore experiment with and integrate emerging AIdriven solutions into software development workflows AIEnhanced Problem Solving: Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to debug code streamline development processes and enhance productivity Adaptability and Learning Agility: Enthusiastic about continuously learning and quickly adapting to new AI features and capabilities Collaboration with AI: Experience or interest in collaborating closely with AI tools as pair programmers to complement traditional software development practices
