The Repsol Industrial Complex in A Coruña promotes workforce training through two training programs, which provide students the chance to join their Job Bank:
Dual Mode (2000 hours, 2 academic years):
This dual training combines theoretical and practical learning, lasting 2000 hours over two academic years. It starts in September 2025 and ends in August 2027. The theoretical part during the first year will be conducted at IES A Sardiñeira, and the second year will include practical training at Repsol (in the Repsol Industrial Complex in A Coruña).
Requirements:
Scientific or technological Baccalaureate and/or equivalent academically (Access test for Higher Grade in technical careers or university access test for those over 25).
Currently in the second year of Scientific and/or Technological Baccalaureate (with a good academic record, a certificate of grades must be provided).
FPI (Intermediate Level Vocational Training) in Chemical Plant.
FPI or Higher Level Vocational Training in fields like Electricity/Electronics, Mechanical Manufacturing, Maintenance, or Production Services.
Valid or soon-to-be-obtained driving license (must be provided within two years during the course).
No prior work experience required.
Availability to work in shifts (morning, afternoon, and night).
Functions and responsibilities:
Perform activities related to operation, control, and monitoring proactively, taking responsibility for the people and equipment in your area of work, in accordance with current regulations, agreements, procedures, and Repsol's policies on safety, quality, environment, and energy efficiency, as well as management directives.
Certification of Professional Competence (Level 3) in Plant Management and Control (1083 hours theoretical-practical, 1 academic year):
This program, in collaboration with the Xunta de Galicia, involves 10 months of theoretical and practical training. The theoretical part from September 2025 to February 2026 will be at IES A Sardiñeira, and from February 2026 to July 2026, practical training will be at Repsol's Industrial Complex in A Coruña.
Requirements:
High school diploma or technical specialist diploma (FPII or Higher Level Vocational Training) or equivalent (mandatory).
Valid driving license (mandatory).
Availability to work in shifts (morning, afternoon, and night).
Valuable additional requirements:
FPII or Higher Level Vocational Training in fields like Electricity/Electronics, Mechanical Manufacturing, Maintenance, or Production Services.
Previous work experience in an industrial environment.
Functions and responsibilities:
Perform activities related to operation, control, and monitoring proactively, assuming responsibility for the personnel and equipment in your area, following current regulations, agreements, procedures, and Repsol's policies on safety, quality, environment, and energy efficiency, as well as management directives.
