Internship Overview
The six-month internship at UnionPay International presents a unique opportunity to acquire hands-on experience in merchant services.
Main Responsibilities
1. Merchant Visits and Testing (70%)
* Conduct live tests with provided test cards to verify acceptance status, documenting details on merchant visit records and sharing information with mentors as needed. Follow up with phone calls or return visits if necessary.
* Verify decals are installed; persuade merchants to install them at doorways, windows, or cash desks if missing.
* Present communication channels to merchants and note interest in joint-promotion campaigns and follow-ups.
2. Administrative Support (30%)
* Assist with daily office administration tasks.
* Prepare Marketing & Communication documents, collect information, translate materials, etc.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree from a Spanish university.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to work independently, excellent organizational and time management skills.
Language Requirements
Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in Spanish being a plus.
