GD ePayments is looking for a Procurement Engineer, for a position based in Barcelona while working with the global Procurement team. Your tasks You drive the GD relevant ESG strategies and activities with our suppliers, e.g. PCF calculations You support strategic purchasing with technical expertise, trends, technology and industry analyses in discussions and negotiations You are jointly contributing to the design and stringent implementation of product strategies and roadmaps with our suppliers You are the leading process owner for change notifications from our suppliers (Product Change Notification / Product Change Information) In close cooperation with the other functional departments, you manage the sourcing of sample materials You are the technical interface in Procurement for suppliers, R&D, Product Management and Quality Your profile You have completed a technical degree (physics, electrical engineering or similar) or comparable training, ideally with a focus on semiconductors Your first relevant experience in a technical environment and confidence in using tools is desirable You have successfully demonstrated your strong analytical judgment and the ability to reliably solve complex issues in global and cross-functional teams in the past Availability to travel approximately once per quarter Fluent English language skills What’s great about working with us: Inclusive Culture: Join a diverse, people-oriented environment with team members from various nationalities and backgrounds.
