**Head of Industrialization (Fragrance Ingredients) - Your future position?**
You will lead the industrialization, design and deployment of ingredients or new products manufacturing processes, using available and novel technologies. You will report to the Head of Fragrance Ingredients Manufacturing Industrialization. Your primary responsibilities will be: strategy design and execution, Function management, People management.
**You will**:
- Provide technical input for designing the Operations strategy and definition of related goals based on market intelligence (e.g. creative technologies) and input provided by internal partners, i.e. Engineering, S&T;, C&A;, Commercial, Procurement, Regulatory, and EHS
- Deploy tactical and operational plans to accomplish the Fragrance Ingredients Manufacturing industrialization goals
- Lead the local industrialization of products/ingredients manufacturing from lab tests to pilot production and handover to manufacturing teams with other departments (S&T;, FIB, FIB, RAPS, Quality Assurance, EHS, Procurement, Controlling, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) and external partners
- Scout market and collaborate with adjacent functions (S&T;, Engineering, Regulatory, EHS) to identify and test new ingredients/products processing techniques/technologies to be on-boarded and deployed within factories
- Lead innovation activities by experimenting new/different ways in using technologies and in processing products/ingredients (e.g. synthesis of fragrance ingredients)
- Contribute to the development of sustainable manufacturing processes through the implementation of green chemistry and sustainable industrialization technologies
- Prepare and submit business cases for industrialization projects, and lead their execution upon approval being obtained
- Contribute to the general network of Industrialization groups in knowledge exchanges and best practices harmonization
- Manage technical documentation
- Audit compliance of the Fragrance Ingredients Manufacturing Industrialization team(s) with internal and external EHS regulations and implement corrective measures in case of deviation
- Execute the annual operating plan within approved budget
**Your professional profile includes**:
- PHD in Chemistry or Chemical/Biochemical Engineering
- Specialization in organic chemistry or science of chemical engineering
- Overall work experience of 10+ years in chemical manufacturing environment, including lab and production chemistry experience
- 5+ years of progressive experience in people management
- Experience working in complex/matrix organizations
- Fluency in Spanish and English languages
- Proficiency in chemical manufacturing processes and industrialization
- Good command in project management using TPM, KPI, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and project controlling tools
- Good command in partner management and communications
- Expertise in protocol design
- Excellent knowledge of EHS science, rules and guidelines
- Knowledge of financial concepts (e.g. OPEX, CAPEX) and tools (e.g. SAP).
