Job Description:
The Carlos Simon Foundation for Research in Women's Health is offering an outstanding clinical trial statistician position in Valencia, Spain. The Foundation, led by Professor Carlos Simón of the University of Valencia, focuses on biomedical research in reproductive medicine and women's health. Our multidisciplinary team of over 30 professionals aims to improve women's health outcomes related to uterine pathologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Designing statistical aspects of clinical trials, including methodology, sample size, and analysis strategies.
* Preparing and coordinating the review of the Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP) to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Performing statistical analyses of clinical data, including descriptive and inferential statistics.
* Coding and analyzing adverse events using MedDRA, ensuring data quality and safety assessments.
* Writing statistical reports and contributing to the Clinical Study Report (CSR).
* Ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting audits and regulatory reviews.
* Providing statistical advice to multidisciplinary teams and proposing analysis adjustments as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
* University degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Biostatistics, or related field; PhD or equivalent experience preferred.
* At least 3 years of experience in statistics applied to clinical trials, with experience in SAP development, CSR, and adverse event coding.
* Proficiency in statistical tools such as SAS, R, or SPSS.
* Knowledge of experimental design, multivariate analysis, and Bayesian trial designs is a plus.
* Excellent project management, communication, and attention to detail skills.
