Role Overview
Sales Representative – Barcelona and Mallorca
Responsibilities
- Visit client points of sale : Follow a predetermined route to visit designated clients, ensuring consistent presence and dedicated attention at each point of sale.
- Shelf Space Optimization : Maximize the available shelf space to ensure an effective and attractive product display, driving both sales and brand visibility.
- Setups and Implementations : Carry out setups and implementations according to the provided guidelines, ensuring a consistent and attractive presentation of products at the point of sale.
- Negotiation of Displays and Product Listing : Negotiate display and listing agreements with point‑of‑sale managers to ensure optimal product placement and increased visibility within the commercial space.
- Market Information Gathering : Collect relevant market information, including consumer trends, customer behavior and competitor activities, to inform commercial and marketing strategies.
- Reporting : Prepare periodic reports on point‑of‑sale performance, including sales data, effectiveness of display strategies and observations on competitors and the market overall.
- Customer Service : Proactively and efficiently address any issues at the point of sale, such as out‑of‑stock products, problems with promotional signage or space constraints, thereby ensuring an optimal customer experience.
Qualifications
- Background : Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing or related.
- Previous experience in commercial negotiation.
- Experience in the food industry or fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG).
- B2 level English.
- Competences :
- Strong communication and negotiation skills – demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Dynamic and organized personality – proactive and capable of working independently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of the market and food products – understanding of market trends, consumer preferences, competition and detailed knowledge of the company’s products.
- Analytical skills – strong analytical ability to interpret sales data and market trends, enabling informed decision‑making and strategy development.
- Sales‑orientated vision – strategic mindset focused on identifying market opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships and leveraging data‑driven insights to maximize profitability.
- Valid driver’s license.
