We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Business Development division and contribute to improving people's lives. As part of the Sacyr Concesiones development team, the Assistant Project Manager – Project Development (APM) will support the P3 bidding process from a developer / equity investor perspective on social and transportation projects across various regions.
Duties and Responsibilities :
* Assist in coordinating and managing the entire P3 bidding process from start to finish.
* Negotiate equity teaming and project bidding agreements.
* Coordinate engagement with developer and lender advisors.
* Prepare submissions for Request for Qualification (RFQ).
* Develop and implement project-specific bid management plans.
* Create and track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
* Coordinate bid deliverables development with project management teams across finance, design, construction, operations, and rehabilitation.
* Work with the legal team on negotiations related to the DBFM Agreement, Design-Build Contract, and Maintenance & Renewal or Facility Management Contracts.
* Collaborate with the finance team to secure project financing, including lender processes.
* Assist in developing project cost estimates in consultation with finance, legal, construction, and operations teams.
* Build and maintain relationships with key partners, advisors, and clients.
* Prepare reports on bid progress, project descriptions, market assessments, etc.
* Support other development activities and coordinate with finance, legal, and technical groups as needed.
* Travel regularly for internal and client meetings.
Requirements and Competences :
* Degree in civil or industrial engineering.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction industry production.
* Proficiency in Spanish and English.
* Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and pay attention to detail.
* Self-motivated with the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Understanding of the P3 contractual framework.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Experience with successful P3 deals is a plus.
