We are looking for a passionate and experienced Marketing Manager with a strong background in sportswear (apparel and footwear) to lead marketing initiatives across the EMEA region. Beyond core marketing capabilities, this role requires excellent budget management skills, and a proven ability to navigate cultural and language nuances across diverse markets and customers profiles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across Europe to drive traditional wholesale partnerships and collaborate directly with specialized local retail partners to deliver exceptional Wilson brand experiences, including pop-up shops and activations. Strategy & Planning Develop and execute comprehensive trade marketing strategies aligned with Wilson’s global brand vision and EMEA commercial goals, with a specific focus on sportswear. Partner with cross-functional partners and agencies to support wholesale engagement Own the annual EMEA sportswear marketing calendar and partner with the Global Team on Strategic Brand Building activities Retail Execution & Activation Lead and oversee retail/wholesale execution initiatives including POS materials, in-store displays, window installations, and branded environments for wholesale, distributor, and DTC channels. Support and manage pop-up shop marketing plans, relationship management, and the delivery of premium Wilson retail brand experiences across key locations and customers as well as the management of our Lifestyle Agencies partners. Collaborate with sales, marketing and commercial teams to monitor sell-through and optimize shopper engagement strategies. Trade Marketing & Partnership Development Lead the development and execution of trade toolkits, seasonal go-to-market presentations, and B2B activations including product launches, staff training, and partner events. Build strong relationships with on-the-ground retail, wholesale and community partners to drive local market success. Partner with the existing network of Trade Marketing resources for the Specialty and On-line channels. Activate strategic partnerships and dedicated Soft Goods Brand Building plans Budget Management & Reporting Own and manage the EMEA soft goods retail and trade marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and delivering measurable ROI on all initiatives. Track and analyze campaign performance metrics, retail KPIs, and sell-through data to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement. To be a successful Marketing Manager, Sportswear (EMEA), you must: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sports Management, or equivalent professional experience 4–6 years of experience in retail, trade, or channel marketing within sportswear (apparel and footwear), preferably tennis-focused. Deep passion for tennis and credible authority in the sport and category. Proven ability to manage marketing budgets with strong financial discipline. Experience partnering with wholesale businesses and sales teams to drive joint business objectives. Strong relationship building skills Fluent in English; proficiency in additional European languages is highly advantageous. Strong project management skills, excellent communication, and organizational abilities.
