Job Summary
This role is based in our Madrid office 4 days per week. An exciting opportunity to join our Content Sales team in Madrid and represent our company with a comprehensive understanding of our content catalogue. You will research client needs and identify how our wide content catalogue meets them. Achieving budget targets through effective planning, setting sales goals, and delivering business to meet revenue objectives. You will generate leads and build and cultivate client relationships.
Key accountabilities
1. Sell Disney's content catalogue to Spanish and Portuguese clients.
2. Drive revenues across all channels and platforms in Iberia: FreeTV, PayTV, OTT players like Mediaset, TVE, SIC, RTP, AXN, Cosmopolitan, Filmin, HBO Max.
3. Drive intercompany sales with Iberia Networks (FOX).
4. Support the sales manager in the annual budget processes.
5. Provide proactive customer care, including tailored support and serving as the point of contact for screeners, marketing materials, technical issues, legal processes, and invoices.
6. Perform administrative functions such as developing tailored availability lists, recording deal information into the system, and following up post-sale for contract signatures and invoicing.
7. Update internal reports with franchise information.
8. Coordinate with the marketing department for special events.
9. Create pitch decks to explore new sales opportunities.
10. Support TV markets by presenting new products (L.A. Screenings / Madrid Screenings) and maintaining client relationships (MIPCOM).
11. Work closely with DCVI Regional and local teams, supervising material deliveries and resolving dubbing issues to meet client requirements.
12. Serve as the main local contact for Product Placement business.
13. Build and promote relationships with internal and external contacts to identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications and experience
* Bachelor’s degree.
* 7-8 years of experience in similar roles.
* Experience in sales and customer-facing environments.
* Knowledge of the TV market in Spain and Portugal.
* Sales and customer-oriented mindset.
* High proficiency in English.
* Detailed product and market knowledge.
