Future Learning is currently looking to expand our international sales team and is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, experienced, and confident Regional Business Developer to manage our Spanish and some EU markets while based in Spain.
EU Regional Business Developer - based in Spain
As an EU Regional Business Developer, you will work in international sales, driven to achieve sales targets through all channels for all markets. Under the guidance of the EU Senior Sales Executive, your responsibilities will include retaining and developing existing clients, securing new customers and routes to market, and supporting the development of new Future Learning projects. The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, positive, detail-oriented, fun, and a team player.
Being organized and driven with close attention to detail is key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive repeat sales through B2B and B2C relationships/networks.
* Generate new sales opportunities through additional relationships, routes to market, and creative product offerings.
* Ensure all sales opportunities are recorded in the CRM system.
* Monitor leads, opportunities, and pipelines, and respond to inquiries effectively.
* Collaborate with other departments on new business proposals to ensure deliverability and profitability.
* Achieve specific sales targets for new Future Learning centers.
* Promote new centers internally and externally.
* Identify in-country opportunities and attend external events, conferences, exhibitions, and workshops.
* Travel as needed to visit current and prospective clients within your region.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international market trends, competitors, and market intelligence.
* Meet annual sales targets and KPIs, and provide progress reports to directors.
* Develop market intelligence networks and access new business opportunities.
* Manage and develop key accounts, and manage customer expectations.
* Contribute to strategic planning and develop the FL brand in additional EU countries.
* Assist with translation, design, and production of marketing materials in Spanish.
Personal Goals:
* Identify new sales agents and partners in Spain, Portugal, and other regions (e.g., France, Germany).
* Enhance relationships with existing agents, partners, and suppliers.
* Achieve sales targets and be a team player.
* Use customer feedback to improve our offerings.
* Develop direct and agent bookings in adult and young learner sectors.
Candidate Requirements:
* Based in Spain.
* Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent.
* Fluent in Spanish and English; additional EU languages (Portuguese, French, German) are a plus.
* At least 3 years of experience in the international language education industry.
* Experience in account management, relationship management, sales, or marketing.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience working with diverse cultures and English levels.
* Strong IT skills and organizational abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets.
* Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
* Customer-focused with a professional demeanor.
* Willingness to travel; a driving license is desirable.
* Experience with digital marketing and CRM systems.

Contract Details & Hours:
Spanish working hours apply. Travel overseas and work extra hours or weekends may be required. Service fee €21,000 to €24,000 per year + commission, with potential total earnings of €33,000 to €36,000+ based on performance. Native Spanish speaker preferred; knowledge of other EU languages is a plus.
