The Commercial Country Manager - Iberia is responsible for achieving the company’s sales targets in the designated country while ensuring business growth and profitability. This role involves leading and managing the commercial team within the country, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. The role holder will also oversee and support R&D;, Product Management (PM), Product Development (PD), and Marketing activities within the country, working closely within a matrix organization.
Key Responsibilities Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement business strategies for the market, aligned with the company’s goals and strategies.
- Identify market opportunities and develop plans to expand the company’s presence.
Operations Management
- Oversee all commercial operations, including credit line management.
- Support the G&A; functions of the Country organization based on the given PoA and the established DoA.
- Ensure compliance with HR, legal, and regulatory requirements in accordance with local laws and company policies.
Business Development
- Secure and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive market expansion.
Marketing and Sales
- Support the development and execution of marketing and sales strategies to increase market share and enhance brand values.
- Oversee marketing campaigns and assess their effectiveness in driving business growth.
Research and Development
- Coordinate research and development activities to enhance the future product pipeline.
- Work closely with R&D; teams to ensure product profiling reviews and drive future innovations.
Finance and Budgeting
- Manage the country budget, ensuring profitability and cost control.
- Provide regular financial performance reports and insights.
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead, motivate, and develop the local team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Support the recruitment process and collaborate with HR Managers on career development and performance evaluations.
Required Skills
